Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival

On September 27, in Croft 107, the Chinese program celebrated the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. Students made presentations about the cultural importance of the festival and sang songs, and Flagship instructor, Hui Zhu, demonstrated how the traditional dessert, mooncakes, are assembled. Everyone, including high school students of Chinese from Oxford, Lafayette County, and Holly Spring, enjoyed a Chinese meal as sampled many varieties of mooncakes.
