Donated Chinese Artifacts On Display

aaa CammilleYahmDonation2Camille (Shephart) Yahm, Class of ’60, donated several artifacts from the time she spent in China half a century ago.  Several of these artifacts, which shed light on this key period in China’s development, are now on display in the eastern entrance of The Croft Institute for International Studies.  The items pictured include a miniature decorative Chinese screen, a Chinese musical instrument, a diabolo, a box containing a reproduction of a Chinese opera mask, a book containing reproductions of famous posters from the Cultural Revolution, and various books.  Other items are on display in the Croft reading room for easy access by students and in the Chinese Flagship offices.
