FRENCH FACULTY | FRENCH COURSES

The University of Mississippi offers an undergraduate major and minor in French as well as an M.A. in Modern Language with a specialization in French. The Department of Modern Languages has a faculty with expertise in the major fields of French language, literature and culture. Abundant opportunities exist for students to work closely with French faculty.
Student Organization:
The Department maintains an active chapter of Pi Delta Phi, the national French Honor Society. Membership is based upon the following three criteria:
- completion of two courses beyond French 211
- overall GPA of 3.0
- GPA of 3.5 in French courses
- Francophones de l’Université de Mississippi
