Manuel Sosa-Ramirez received his Ph.D. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the University of California Berkeley. His research focuses on (Post) Modern Transatlantic Theatre, Film and Literature. He is the author of “El Nuevo Teatro Español y Latinoamericano. Un Estudio Transatlántico: 1960-1980″ (Society of Spanish and Spanish-American Studies, 2004). He has also published in Estreno, Ciberletras, Espéculo, Anales de la Literatura Española Contemporánea and Lucero. Professor Sosa-Ramirez is currently working on a book project on Globalization, Postmodernism, and Contemporary Spanish and Latin American Theatre.
